Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) most recently honored LAN Associates and Senator Kevin J. O’Toole for their legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to the community. A Celebration of Excellence was held at the end of October, where LAN and Senator O’Toole were presented with the David F. Bolger Award for Service and Leadership.
“The David F. Bolger Award is selectively presented to individuals or organizations that have demonstrated exceptional and inspiring levels of leadership, both personally and professionally, and with a level of service that puts others above themselves,” said Douglas A. Struyk, CPA, LNHA, CHCC President and CEO. “In their own powerful and unique way, LAN Associates has demonstrated and delivered these qualities without expectation of any recognition. We were so proud to honor their service to countless others with this prestigious award.”
“We were surprised and humbled to learn we were selected to receive the prestigious David F. Bolger Award for Service and Leadership,” Mr. Karle says. “It has been a pleasure to improve the built environment over our past 51 years. This award inspires us to use our design skills to do even more to improve the quality of life for our community and especially those in need of care.”
LAN has had a long-standing professional partnership with CHCC for more than 25 years designing critical projects and expansions on CHCC’s 78-acre campus. These include The Longview Assisted Living Residence, Ramapo Ridge Psychiatric Hospital addition, Heritage Manor Nursing Home East Great Room, The David F. Bolger Post-acute Care Unit, Heritage Manor Nursing Home West, and the Bolger Gym & Wellness Center. On deck is The Vista, CHCC’s continuing care retirement community which will be built on the Wyckoff campus and slated to open in late 2018.
