LAN Associates congratulates Meghan Useo on becoming a newly licensed Architect. Ms. Useo joined the LAN team in 2010 as an architectural intern, working on projects of various scopes and sizes, and through her experience has worked to achieve her architectural license.
“It is with great pleasure to announce that Meghan Useo has passed the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) and receiving her license. Her completed examinations demonstrate her ability to practice competently as an architect, and are a testament to her perseverance and dedication to the profession.” said Michael McGovern, Vice President of LAN’s Goshen office. “On behalf of LAN, we congratulate you on passing your licensing exam and achieving this very important milestone in both your personal and professional career.”
Becoming a licensed architect is quite an extensive process. The first step is to receive a 5-year bachelor’s degree in Architecture. After graduation, one has to complete the Architecture Experience Program (AXP). Only after these steps can a potential architect prepare for, and pass, all seven parts of the Architect Registration Examinations (ARE).
“I am beyond happy and relieved to have passed my test and complete the last step to becoming a licensed architect. Becoming an architect has always been a dream of mine, and I am ecstatic to have achieved that goal” said Meghan Useo. “I look forward to continue my work at LAN, and I anticipate to grow, both as an architect and a person, through my experiences.”
As a licensed architect, Ms. Useo will continue to work with the Architecture department at LAN Associates.
