Adds new facilities in New York City and New Jersey to Long Island HQ

Move designed to improve client response time
Hauppauge, NY – June 12, 2009 – LAN Associates, a premier provider of highly reliable networked computing solutions to the Legal Market as well as corporate clients in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States, has today announced the opening of two new office facilities, one in the famed Chrysler Building in New York City, and the other at One Gateway Center in Newark, New Jersey.
“Ask anyone who has been a client of LAN Associates and they’ll tell you that we’re about much more than just the technology,” explained LAN Associates CEO Richard A. Schulman. “We’re all about a personal relationship with each and every one of our clients, many of whom have been with us for over 20 years.” Schulman also observed that much of the Information Technology industry has become much too dependent upon remote access management tools to support their clients. “There are many problems we can fix quickly with remote tools, but to properly advise our clients on how to integrate the best technology has to offer we must be in a position to be on-site. We have to have our people close enough to support our clients at any time.”
LAN Associates has been serving the greater New York Metropolitan Area including Long Island, the five boroughs, New Jersey and Connecticut since 1986. Offices in the Washinton D.C. Metro Area and well as Raleigh, North Carolina were added to expand their coverage – connecting the Northeast to the Mid-Atlantic States.
The new offices also reflect the company’s need to establish new facilities to support new programs designed to deliver more information and insight to clients and prospective new clients. “A good example is our recent Virtualization All-Star Event held in April in NYC in which we brought Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, and Dell together to compare their competitive solutions. We had over 65 people attend that event which we hosted at a popular New York City Steakhouse, but to present more complex solutions more often we felt the need to have our own presentation facilities conveniently located for any and all of our clients to attend.”
